Value of Clean Calculator

This tool helps your customers better understand how to connect cleaning investments to metrics that facility executives care about most, and to internally sell the importance of cleaning to upper level decision makers to secure necessary buy-in and funding.
You can calculate estimates for customers based on the benchmarks included in each metric’s background information or use a facility’s specific data. You also can share the tool directly with customers to calculate for themselves. The choice is yours.
Keep Your Customers' Online Reputations Clean
By Dave Mesko

"The restrooms are dirty and don’t have any toilet paper.” A recent survey revealed that 94 percent of U.S. adults would avoid a business in the future if they encountered a dirty restroom . A Yelp reviewer in New York City left a negative review at a movie theater after her dirty experience. After witnessing wet toilet seats, dirty floors, and no toilet paper or soap, she “wouldn’t recommend this theater.” To avoid these mishaps from happening in your facility, implement an ongoing restroom care program that not only ensures that restrooms are always properly stocked, but that they are also regularly deep cleaned. In addition to daily maintenance, integrate a deep cleaning program to remove organic soils and odors that regular mops and brushes can’t.

Will OSHA Extend GHS Compliance Deadline?

NO!
In a recent meeting with OSHA representatives, Dr. David Michaels, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health denied industry’s petition to extend the June 1, 2015 deadline for GHS compliant SDSs and labels, much to the frustration and surprise of industry representatives in attendance. An industry coalition of several prominent trade associations, including ISSA, petitioned OSHA in mid-August 2014 to grant a two year extension of the June 1, 2015 deadline for GHS compliant labels and SDSs for manufacturers and distributors of formulated chemical products such as general purpose cleaners or bathroom cleaners.  The industry coalition requested the extension of the deadline to allow formulators sufficient time to gather and review information from raw material suppliers, which in turn is critical to developing accurate and compliant GHS SDSs and labels.

No Eagles today because they whipped up the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. What a great game and meal with my family. We were shooting pool during half time and my Dad even joined in at 94 years old. Hope I can be playing pool when I am his age!

Have a great day and an even better sales week!
