Summer almost over.
It is almost the end of the summer so we would like to take the day off next Sunday to celebrate Labor Day from publishing the blast. We will pick up the blast again the following Sunday.
ISSA show is coming!
This week we put our booth locations in for the 2015 ISSA show. I know it is a little far off but the order of drawing is based on a variety things one of which is seniority as an exhibitor. Bullen will be exhibiting for its 60 year in 2015! Hard to believe the ISSA and the show has been around that long. We have switched to a 20 x 20 foot island booth this year and will probably be doing the same in 2015.
New this year in Orlando will be a roll out of our new branding for the Airx line. You will get to see it before that but the ISSA show will be the official unwrapping.
Tuberculosis Is Newer Than Thought, Study Says
After a remarkable analysis of bacterial DNA from 1,000-year-old mummies, scientists have proposed a new hypothesis for how tuberculosis arose and spread around the world.
The disease originated less than 6,000 years ago in Africa, they say, and took a surprising route to reach the New World: It was carried across the Atlantic by seals.
Tuberculosis has long been one of the deadliest diseases. In 2012, 8.6 million people became ill with this infection, and it caused 1.3 million deaths, according to the World Health Organization. The invading bacterium, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, attacks the lungs, where it causes widespread scarring.
This information is posted so you can be more familiar with the history of TB. In the Airx line we have RX75 that is effective against TB.
