Sunday Sales Blast 4/10/16

Spring Cleaning is here

I was wondering where the term spring cleaning came from so I did some research

In North America and northern Europe, the custom found an especially practical value due to those regions' continental and wet climates. During the 19th century in America, prior to the advent of the vacuum cleaner, March was often the best time for dusting because it was getting warm enough to open windows and doors (but not warm enough for insects to be a problem), and the high winds could carry the dust out of the house.

Either way it is a great time to talk about the Value of Clean and all of the benefits of keeping your business and house in order. There is a great article in the new ISSA Today on the psychology of clean and trust if a business or area has been cleaned properlyOne of the quotes I recall was about the wipes that you are offered at a supermarket to sanitize the handles. As professionals we know that proper dwell time is important but does the average shopper? I guess not. Coming up soon is the NJSSA show in Atlantic City. Bill Balek from ISSA will be giving his talk about the Value of Clean and if you have not heard it before make a point of signing up for it. After the talk you can visit Bullen at our booth just inside the main entrance.

Master Tournament this Sunday and it is looking good with Rory and Jordan in the hunt to win their second green jacket.

Have a great day and an even better sales week!
