Jancast #93 – Podcasting to a cleaner & healthier world.

You will never guess what the new allocation is!

I am flying solo this week while Mark is out in the wild doing his first in-person training since Covid. I cover the 15% increase in the use of Catsup or Ketchup, new CDC recommendations on electrostatic sprayers and all of the new price increases coming.

Here is the link I talked about in the podcast on the new CDC guidelines-

Jancast #92 – Podcasting to a cleaner & healthier world.

Allocations again?

Seems like we just went through this already but allocations are back. As a result of the Texas freeze and disruptions of the supply change due to plants not being properly shut down, ket raw materials for floor finish and floor strippers are in short supply. We also demo how to use a moisture meter to locate spots.

Covid N list update Bullen EPA N list

The new Bullen Broadcast Studio

In these days of social distancing our training center that was built for hosting sessions with 25-40 people has been transformed into a full time streaming studio. Next week (11/11-13th) we will be streaming daily for 7+ hours. In the future, we will be hosting virtual sales meetings, end-user training, educational sessions, and much more. This continues the Bullen innovation we pioneered with the first industry podcast, that won the ISSA Innovation award for 2005.

We currently have been put on allocation for the raw materials involved with the manufacture of disinfectants. At this time we can accept new orders for disinfectant products but they have to be on separate purchase orders and pre-approved with your salesperson. We will update you on our supply chain as it changes. We will fill new orders asap but please allow us additional production time.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we are sold out on all of our spray systems. We have instituted an allocation system that ties the spray systems with the purchase of products while we wait for the arrival of our new supply. Email sales@bullenonline for more information and to order.
Our sprayers come from Germany and we have our next order arriving in approximately 30 days.

Covid-19 Products and Procedures

The Bullen Companies has an extensive history with odor and pathogen control with it’s Airx Labs brand and a broad list of EPA approved products. Bullen and Airx developed long before electrostatic sprayers came on the market a reliable, inexpensive spray system for a variety of surfaces. We were a major supplier to the end user market when the SARS outbreak occurred. Now we have Covid-19 and Bullen continues to lead the industry with its innovative spray non-electric spray systems and short dwell time disinfectants.

Watch this video to see the facts about the different spray systems.

Proper procedures

Proper procedures are almost more important the product being used. Things like reading the label for how to use the product and dwell time are critical. The Pathogen Control Manual (link below) shows you how to properly use disinfectants with sprayers, mops and other applicators

Therefore, these products can be used against 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) when used in accordance with the directions for use against Rotovirus on hard, non-porous surfaces (per the Emerging Viral Pathogen Guidance).

The most unique EPA disinfectant product is Spray N Go. It is a ready to use formulation with 2-10 minute dwell time, depending on the pathogen (most are 5-10 minutes). See the video below on the difference between a 2 minute and 10 minute as well the use of electrostatic sprayers.
Note: This video was filmed before Covid-19. The dwell time for Spray N Go against Covid-19 is 5 minutes. Still much easier to do a job with 5 minutes versus 10.
