SSB 8/7/22: Avoid a price war by selling your brand!

Avoid a price war by selling your brand!

Recent trends show as businesses finally exhaust the built-up inventory from the depths of covid they are looking for alternatives to national brands.

For instance, one of the reasons why Coca Cola is so successful isn’t because it’s that much different from Pepsi or Dr Pepper, but because it has chosen to focus on selling a brand, rather than the product itself.

Developing your brand is an absolute must these days, since 75% of consumers worldwide list brand origin as an essential purchase driver.

While it’s certainly difficult to determine the most critical ingredients for a successful business or company, branding should definitely be at the top of everyone’s list.

Ways to Improve Branding Strategy for your Business

Improve Your Credibility

These days, people are more shopping-savvy than ever, which means that you will have a much higher chance of turning them into customers if you can establish your company as a brand that inspires authority.

Moreover, while building brand authority does not happen overnight, you can do plenty of things to boost it.

Maintain an Active Presence on Social Media

Regardless of what your business is, it is fair to assume that some or most of your target audience is going to be on social media.

It is up to you to determine which social media platforms they are using.

Even if some platforms might not be the most relevant for your industry, you should still open an account on them, because you want to make sure that nobody else opens an account under the same name as your brand, since they could cause potential harm to your reputation.

Jancast #128 – Podcasting to a cleaner & healthier world

In this week’s episode, we have a special guest joining us, William “Bill” Griffin, ISSA CIMS Assessor, an ISSA CMI Master Trainer, and a valued IICRC’s Standards Committee member, an IICRC Instructor, and a highly respected author.

We get into why certification and why someone should want to know about or have the CIMS & CIMS-GB  accreditations. How is it helpful, or how is it generally used?

What kind of companies or organizations would benefit from CIMS? BSCs? ISPs? DoD contractors? Military bases? Fed, State & City Gov’t agencies? Fortune 500 companies?

It was great learning the background on why you or a company would want to get certified and what it means for the future of cleaning.
