SSB 11/27/22: Do you know what your customers want and need?

Blog

Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

Do you know what your customers want and need?

The global surface disinfectant market size was valued at USD 5.1 billion in 2021 and is anticipated to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.3% from 2022 to 2030. The growth is attributed to several factors, such as lifestyle changes in developing economies, rising awareness about animal diseases among livestock farmers, and increasing demand for disinfectants for use in livestock farms.

There has been a significant decline in demand for raw materials and active ingredients due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the closure of multiple production hubs and factories globally. Multiple plants have been running at reduced rates or even shut down, which resulted in a supply-demand gap. However, a rise in demand for cleaning products, sanitizers, and disinfectants is expected to have a positive impact on market growth.

Jancast # 136 is now up!
What a great show this week, we talk about Marks’s trip to the North Pole (really just Buffalo, New York, and the blizzard of 2023. He made it back ok to tell us about it.

We also cover if you can trust your CoV2 tests that may have expired and how to find out if these are any good.

We finished with a great discussion with Grant and Don Aslett of the Museum of Clean. They have had over 100,000 visitors and have 500+ vintage vacuums. We commend them for collecting and sharing the history of cleaning.
