Spring Into Sales: Preparing for Q2 2026

As we wrap up the first month of the year, it’s the perfect time to shift gears and start thinking about Q2—the start of the annual spring-cleaning boom for many of your customers. Whether you sell to building service contractors, facilities, schools, or property managers, March–June is one of the strongest product-usage cycles of the year. Now is the time to prepare.
Here are three simple ways to get in front of the opportunity:
1. Refresh Your Spring Cleaning Bundles
Dealers who bundle win more quotes—period. Here are bundles that consistently perform well in Q2:
• Hard Surface Cleaning Bundle: neutral cleaner + disinfectant + microfiber
• Restaurant/FOH Bundle: degreaser + odor control + hand hygiene
• Outdoor/Property Care Bundle: graffiti remover + exterior cleaner + matting
2. Review Q1 Usage and Adjust Stock Before Demand Spikes
Look at your SAP or ERP data (you know I always advocate for this!) and pull:
• Top 25 customers by volume in Q1
• Items with rising velocity
• Customers who “fell off” and need a follow-up
A 10-minute review this week can help you catch reorder opportunities before spring hits full swing. Set yourself up so you’re not playing catch-up in April.
3. Use Spring as a Reason to Reconnect
Sometimes all a stalled customer needs is a seasonal nudge. Try these simple outreach starters:
• “We’re helping facilities get ready for spring—do you need a matting refresh or odor-control check?”
• “Are you updating your chemical program for spring cleaning? I can help you map the right items.”
• “Here’s a quick spring bundle that could save you time and labor this quarter…”
A timely message is often more effective than a generic sales call.
Spring is a built-in sales accelerator—but the dealers who prepare in February and early March are the ones who dominate April and May. Refresh your bundles, review your data, and reconnect with customers while the window is wide open.
4. Bundles Reduce Complaints
Most winter floor issues come from using *only* pellets. A bundled approach prevents residue, slips, and damage before they start.

3. How to Disinfect Properly
Clean first: Remove dirt, dust, and organic material
Apply disinfectant liberally to surfaces
Follow dwell time: Let the product sit wet on the surface for the amount of time listed on the label (usually 1–10 minutes)
Air out rooms: Measles can linger in the air for hours, so proper ventilation is key
Focus on high-touch surfaces: doorknobs, light switches, chairs, handrails, remote controls, and countertops
