Back to work, 2022!
Remember from last year? Education is a sustainable resource and technically the price has not gone up!
The job numbers were posted last week and they were lighter than expected and also huge numbers of people just not coming back to work.
Employers that want to fill open roles will have to be a little more open-minded and willing to train. The biggest issue is that available workers don’t have the needed skills. NFIB’s report shows that a staggering 92 percent of businesses hiring or trying to hire reported few or no qualified applicants for the positions they were trying to fill. According to the Association for Talent Development, training is a wise investment for everyone–new workers and old. So this ties in with what we have been talking about for the last three weeks.
Offer your customers training of all of these new employees that have not ever worked in the cleaning industry. As a cleaning expert, you can offer training to your customers so they can have a bigger pool of potential new hires. Education is one thing you will not run out of and is needed as much as paper towels!

Our first episode of 2022 and the news is not good with Omicron rearing its ugly head. Mark and I talk about the changes in the number of cases and hopefully some good news on the tech front on ways that Covid and other pathogens can be controlled in schools, business and even police cars. The healthcare disinfectants and sanitizers market by revenue is expected to grow at a rate of 10.89 percent during the period 2022-2027. That and the supply chain issues getting worse for select segments makes that growth very difficult.
